Convert JPG to PDF online for free

Turn your JPG or PNG photos into a PDF, one image per page and in the order you choose. Free, no sign-up, and the tool does not upload your images.

Files and options

Three photos wait on a shelf at the back. In front, three sheets in a row. Each photo comes down onto its sheet, and then the three sheets are gathered, one on top of another, in a tray with a stop. Enter, Space or the arrow keys move from one step to the next.

Photos and sheets: one image per page, in orderTray: the PDF, with the three sheetsTurning images into a PDF means mounting each one on its own page and binding the pages into a document. 3 images make a 3-page PDF, in the order you arrange them. The image is not cropped: it is fitted to the sheet. It all happens in your browser.

    How to use it

    1. Choose the images (JPG, PNG, WebP…) or drag them onto the dashed area.
    2. Put them in order with the arrows and choose the page size: A4 or each image’s own size.
    3. Click “Create PDF and download” and save the file.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is created in your browser: this tool does not send the images to or store them on any server.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 if you are going to print it or send it as a document: each image is fitted to the page, portrait or landscape depending on its shape. “Each image’s own size” creates pages with no margins, exactly the size of each photo.

    Is any quality lost?

Hardly any. Each image is saved again as a high-quality JPG and, if it is very large, scaled down to 4,000 pixels on its longest side: more than enough to print on A4. Transparent areas become white.

Does the PDF keep where the photo was taken?

No. Each photo is saved again before it goes into the PDF, so only the picture travels: not the location, the phone model or the date.

Will phone photos come out rotated?

No. Photos taken with the phone upright carry a note of their rotation, and they are placed the right way up on the page.

When to turn photos into a PDF

When you have to hand in a document and what you have is photos: a signed contract, some notes, receipts or paper invoices. A PDF brings all the images together in a single file, with the pages in the right order, and opens the same way on any device.

Many forms and online portals only accept PDF, and attaching one file is easier for whoever receives it than downloading ten loose photos with names like IMG_4032.

Page size: A4 or the image’s own

With A4, each image is fitted inside a 210 × 297 mm sheet with a small margin. The sheet is placed portrait or landscape depending on the shape of the photo, and the image is never cropped or distorted. It is the right choice if the PDF is going to be printed or submitted as a document.

With each image’s own size, every page measures exactly what its photo does, with no margins. It works better for viewing on screen: a catalogue, a presentation or a series of screenshots.

How to take good photos of a document

Put the sheet on a flat, dark surface, in natural light and without flash to avoid glare, and photograph it from above, with the phone parallel to the paper. Frame it leaving a little border all round.

The images are saved at high quality and, if they are very large, scaled down to 4,000 pixels on their longest side, more than enough to print on A4. Each photo’s metadata, such as the location or the phone model, does not go into the PDF.
